    Hi guys can someone help me out? im trying to locate the sustain and release cc values for the meeblip micro, i notice there is ADSR on the full meeblip but not listed here on the micro build intstructions http://meeblip.com/use-one/micro-kit-assembly/

    Both the micro and the SE have A(S)R envelopes.

    i see, so its not a complete clone of meeblip? i was under the impression from this line on the meeblip site “you get all the goodness of the MeeBlip” that you get all the goodness of the meeblip in the micro? *deskface*

    The Micro has the same synthesis engine as the newer Meeblip SE, which has dual A(S)R envelopes – one for the filter and one for amplitude. It’s a more versatile configuration than the original (allows filter sweeps, etc) while only requiring 4 knobs.

    Internally, the envelopes are actually ADSR and we’ll make each parameter accessible individually by MIDI in a future update.

    FYI —
    When the Envelope Sustain switch is on, the sustain level is set to 100%, the decay time is set to 100%, and the decay knobs controls envelope release – great for LFO drones.

    When the Envelope Sustain switch is off, the sustain level is set to zero and the decay knobs control both decay and release.

    @James Grahame

    So i guess that means i could hack the control layout to give full access to both ADSR’s and all the other knob functions right? It would mean putting some of the knob functions back on the knob shifts for the outer knobs but there would be enough to do it. I must get into this hacking lark and have a go my self :D

    Hey Chris, the micro code has a few little tweaks (ie: copying the decay value into the release) that would have to be changed to add full ADSR functionality. But, yeah, it can be done easily.

    That said, the envelopes are fairly well suited to the Meeblip as they are – adding dual ADSRs is not going to strikingly alter the sound.
