Noisepages Help

for me the content is exactly the same in both emails (I’m only receiving updates from the MeeBlip group)

Ah yes, me too.  So they come from different hosts, and have slightly different content (the dates are formatted differently as I described above.)

Is this enough info to identify the problem? 

I receive 2 digests every day, one from @noisepages.com and one from @createdigitalmusic.noisepages.com I only have an account on noisepages.

I got three copies today. All three sent at 05:00:05. Each email has a different Message-ID header, and different multipart boundaries, indicating it was sent three times, not a single email which got duplicated. In the excerpts of posts shown in the email body, two copies gave the post timestamp as “at 3:56 am, April [...]

Same problem here, I always get at least two identical “daily digest” emails at once, sometimes I get three.

Ah I see, I hadn’t thought of the Google thing.

I just wrote some  music related stuff on another blog, (tumblr) and thought if that fed through to here interested people would be more likely to see it. Instead I’ll just remember to write those posts directly on Noisepages.

That’d require a plug-in, for sure. Is it something in which you’re interested? It’d definitely work via a WP plug-in…  The other thing we might do is simply provide a sidebar widget, etc., if you just want to link to an existing blog. I’m actually unsure if there’s a Google penalty associated with the same [...]

Heh. It will be interesting to see all those updates suddenly materialize, like the regiments of cybermen in Doctor Who – Army of Ghosts. :-)

Hi Pete – I’m working on this. Ironically, all those updates ARE being stored in the database, just not displayed. It’s a template problem.

This is still a problem. If the update functionality is broken, could we please have the update fields and button removed? It’s frustrating to type something out and have it disappear into the aether.
